Vincent is a human rights activist: he has been advocating for the rights of key and affected populations for several years. He serves on the boards of various organizations focused on key populations, including Persons Marginalized and Aggrieved in Kenya (PEMA) and the Gay and Lesbian Coalition of Kenya (GALCK). He is also a member of the Key Population Consortium in Kenya, and is a co-founder of HIV AIDS Peoples Alliance (HAPA) Kenya. Vincent brings to KELIN his vast experience in advocacy, health financing, research and community engagement with the aim of enhancing the legal and social environment for key populations.
KELIN’s Executive Director, Mr. Allan Maleche stated,
“It is a pleasure to have Vincent on board. He comes one year into the implementation of KELIN’s 2015-2019 Strategic Plan that, amongst other things, seeks to build a strong team and institution for the advancement of health and human rights in the country. He will be a great link to the key and vulnerable populations having closely worked with them in the past. He is expected to contribute substantially to KELIN’s ongoing regional grant, supported by the Global Fund, on removing legal barriers among key & affected populations in accessing HIV & TB services.”
