The court made this direction on 14 February 2017 during the mention of the petitions challenging the unconstitutional sterilization by way of tubal ligation of four women living with HIV (Petition 605 of 2014 and Petition 606 of 2014).
These cases will now be mentioned on 22 February 2017 for the court to hear and determine the application by Manegene & Partners Advocates.
The Petitions have now been assigned to Justice E. C. Mwita following the appointment of Justice Lenaola to the Supreme Court.
The petitions were filed on 10 December 2014 to challenge the unconstitutional sterilization by way of tubal ligation of the five women living with HIV.
