Residents of Bondo are set to benefit from justice clinic hosted by Bondo CUC supported by KELIN. The CUC open day scheduled on 17th March 2023 is intended to promote access to justice by creating awareness on the various rights and advice justice seeker.
Court users committee that is made up of justice actors is mandated to ensure that justice is served without undue delays, just and proportionate. Lack of awareness on the court processes, individual rights and obligation are some of the issues that delay determination of cases and in turn hinder access to justice.
Furthermore, this will be an opportunity to create linkages between the right holders and various duty bearers by placing the missing link to the relationship between duty bearers mandates and right holders entitlements. Various communication, education public awareness documents will be disseminated to foster awareness and replicate best practices collated by KELIN.
