HIV, TB Key & Affected Populations
KELIN works to ensure that health human rights on HIV, AIDS and TB are integrated into policies, laws, and regulations. We do this through interrogating current laws and policies on HIV, and TB, examining gaps at the county and federal level and prepare recommendations for how to integrate relevant human rights.
Health & Governance
Not a single day goes by without reports of serious human rights violations across the world. Human rights violations have serious health consequences and as such it is mandatory to protect and strengthen the systems that measure the right to health.
Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights
Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights are fundamental Human Rights to be enjoyed by every individual. Access to SRHR ensures a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being in all matters relating to the reproductive system.
Strategic Litigation
We undertake litigation on health related cases to ensure that individuals and communities whose fundamental rights and freedoms have been violated have access to justice. The cases we undertake have an impact beyond an individual client as they focus on public interest. By using law as a tool for social change, we aim to address the longstanding problems in the health sector and develop world class jurisprudence that ensures communities continue benefiting while Institutions whose primary role is to deliver services related to health remain accountable.
